Margarete manages to outsmart Waldo

In his quest to court Margarete, young Waldo made another blunder. One day, knowing his beloved was taking a bus to Kreuzberg, he decided to go to the same place. He went to the bus station in Berlin, hoping to chat with her.

When he found Margarete, he said:

- Everything alright?

- Everything's fine...

Waldo tried to get her attention, to talk to Margarete, but she wouldn't listen, feeling somewhat suffocated and pursued by him. Waldo wanted to get on the bus and talk to her, but he made a mistake.

When the bus arrived, Waldo immediately boarded, and he was surprised that Margarete hadn't gotten on. Confused, he decided to stay on the bus and not get off, fearing being accused by his beloved of "stalking" her.

Margarete, for her part, preferred to wait a few minutes for another bus. Waldo, in the vehicle ahead, began to think she wasn't going to take the bus, but rather hitchhike. But he was wrong. He got off near the Jewish Museum in Berlin and was surprised to see Margarete get off another vehicle. He saw her, but she didn't see him. Disappointed, he said:

"What a thing... she preferred to wait for another bus rather than talk to me..."

Desolate, he left the neighborhood, walking back to the center of Berlin, without being seen by her again. Later, he talked to Egon, his friend, and told him what happened, and he said:

"Wow, as they say in football, it's like she dribbled past you and nutmegged you to score a goal."

"No way..."

"Dude, seriously... if she was capable of waiting for another car because she didn't want to talk to you... what the heck do you want with her?"

When she got home later, Margarete said to her mother, Agnes:

"Can you believe it, Mom, that today when I was going to Kreuzberg, that annoying guy followed me?"

"Seriously????"

"Yes, but I dodged him. He didn't even imagine that my appointment was still an hour away. The idiot got on the bus thinking I was going to get on too, but I waited for another bus."

"He must have been annoyed..."

"I hope he realizes he'll stop bothering me. I don't like him and I don't even want to be friends with him. He's a fool who doesn't know what he wants in life. I don't want to date anyone, and even if I did, he would never be my choice."

"Honey, do you think he could be dangerous? Could he want to hurt you?"

"No, I don't think he'd even have the courage to kill a cockroach. I've already looked into him; he's very weak and cowardly." But I hope he realizes that I don't want anything to do with him.
