One night, after finishing her shift at Quitéria's diner, where she works as a server, Santa went to get ready to shower so she could go home. Quitéria, knowing that Santa was going to shower fully clothed, said:
- Did you bring dry clothes?
- No.
- Oh, and you're going to shower and come out in wet clothes?
- What's wrong with that? I'll change at home.
- You really have no sense. I don't know why you don't take your clothes off to shower, like most people do.
- That's just how I am.
Santa went into the bathroom, turned on the shower and got wet. She stayed there for about 20 minutes, and as she was leaving, Quitéria and some others who were in the diner started laughing at her. Santa asked:
- What's wrong? Haven't you ever seen anyone wet before?
Santa gathered her belongings and left. She arrived home in Alto do Cruzeiro and even got scolded by her Aunt Ursula for being wet.
Known for her eccentricities, Santa also eats a lot, and at Quitéria's snack bar, it's not uncommon to see her devouring some food.
Even with all her eccentricities, a neighbor is in love with her. He is known as Juca.
