On a Saturday holiday commemorating the political emancipation of Lagoa da Italianinha, Valdenes and Branquinha ended up meeting by chance. Valdenes said:
- Branquinha, it's so good to see you here.
- I'm happy too, at least I'm not the only one here dressed in the water...
- That's true, who did you come with?
- I came alone.
Valdenes said:
- I came with my friend Eraldo, but he had to leave and I stayed.
- Cool. Did you go to see the cake cutting for the city's anniversary?
- Yes, I did, I just ate the cake and left, coming here.
- I didn't even go. I wanted to come and have fun here.
- Okay...
Branquinha took a few dips, and even made a bet with Valdenes on how fast she could swim to a rock nearby. She won several times.
It was mid-afternoon when they both left the waterfall. Valdenes accompanied her friend to her house, which was halfway there, and they talked for a long time.
