In the Luar do Sertão Residential Complex, live two sisters, Janielle and Janicleide, who once lived on the streets of the city. Janielle is mute and deaf, but even so, she earns a living selling popsicles in the center of Lagoa da Italianinha. Janicleide, on the other hand, is somewhat clumsy and gets into various scrapes. She always wears black clothes because she claims to like "vampires."
With the money from selling popsicles, Janielle buys food for the house, in addition to paying the bills. Janicleide often gets confused in various things, which prevents her from having a job. It is said that after leaving the streets, Janicleide has already had 10 jobs, and 7 hours was the record in one of them.
The two go to the street together, but while Janielle goes to sell popsicles, Janicleide stays at the city's bus station, near Marlene's snack bar. There, with a few coins, she makes some snacks.
