A stressful day for Myllena

One afternoon in Lagoa da Italianinha, Mayor Myllena, barefoot, was in the pool after a stressful day. Her daughter, Vice-Mayor Giovanna Victórya, saw her in the pool and asked, surprised:

- Mom, what are you doing there?"

- Well, I'm relaxing, honey!"

- What? With your clothes on and everything????"

Myllena said:

- So what? Your Aunt Suely also likes to swim like that, fully clothed. And you know what? I feel great, it's like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders!"

Giovanna said:

- I prefer to go in wearing normal swimwear.

Myllena got out of the pool and said:

- Nonsense, honey, that dry clothes.

- And why did you suddenly jump into the pool fully clothed, Mom?"

- Today was a boring day at City Hall."

- Why?"

Myllena said:

- Daughter, let me tell you something: next year, I'm running for Congress and you're going to take my place. Learn one thing. There are no friends in politics, there are only allies. For these people, as long as you're giving them something, you're the best person in the world, but if you stop giving them anything, they'll turn against you and you'll be worthless.

- Wow, Mom. Ever since I lived in Austria, I wanted to go into politics, but I didn't know it was like this!

- You want me to tell you something? It was much better for you to do politics in Austria than here. Now, excuse me, I'm going to change my clothes and hang this one out to dry.
