Mateus—the younger brother of Giovanna Victorya (the mayor of Lagoa da Italianinha) and son of former mayor Myllena—is head over heels for his friend Alice.
But Alice doesn't feel the same way.
To make matters worse, Samuel—another friend of Alice's—is also in love with her.
As it happens, Alice has already made it clear to both of them that she isn't interested in dating.
