Known for being a strange boy in Vitalba and for always going barefoot, even at school, Vitório also enjoys showering fully clothed everywhere. Sometimes, hidden from his mother Maria, he enters the shower with his clothes on and comes out after taking them off, saying that he only intended to "wash the clothes" by hanging them on the clothesline.
Only one classmate knows he does this: Jolanda, who is in love with him. Jolanda even adopted the same habit so that he wouldn't feel alone.
One day, Vitório and Jolanda went into a lake near Vitalba together and had fun. Jolanda only took off her shoes to enter the water with her beloved classmate.
They spent some time together and then sat on a rock to wait for their clothes to dry. Afterwards, each returned home with their clothes dry, and they didn't get scolded by their mothers.
