The twins Malu and Wéllia spent New Year's Eve in Tamandaré. They went with their mother, Selma, and Wéllia's daughter, Alice.
Despite appearing cheerful, the two were constantly arguing. Malu, who went into the sea fully clothed, wearing hippie attire, was mocked by Wéllia, who said:
- Look at the country bumpkin!
- Oh, I like it like this, you see? You don't even like to bathe, you're only here because you want to have fun.
- Stop being silly, Malu!
At one point, while Malu was swimming at the beach, she saw Wéllia strutting on the sand, trying to get her attention. Malu said:
- She's crazy, for goodness sake...
Selma was with her granddaughter Alice, a little further away, and didn't see the two twin sisters arguing with each other...
