In Lagoa da Italianinha, businesswoman Ilene set up a curious modeling agency where models would be photographed or filmed swimming or diving fully clothed in the water. Ilene herself is a fan of this practice and wanted to promote it through websites.
She immediately contacted two Italian friends, Cláudia and Érica, who accepted the invitation immediately. In fact, both are descendants of Italian women who lived in Lagoa da Italianinha: Cláudia is the granddaughter of Bianca, and Érica is the granddaughter of Alycia.
During the filming, Ilene wasn't afraid to even get into the pool with her shoes on, to give instructions to the two models.
Ilene would tell them:
"Don't show fear, show authenticity, as if you were wearing what people here call 'normal' swimwear."
"Thank you, Ilene!" said Cláudia.
"It's true!" said Érica.
Ilene turned to the photographers and said:
"Stay put and take the photos from the right angle. I'm leaving now to let you do your work."
Ilene got out of the pool without even changing. She watched the photo session from a distance. An unusual detail is that Ilene even offered two spare outfits to the two Italian women, but they refused. They wanted to soak their own clothes.
