One day in Philadelphia, Edward received his friend Vernon, who had come from nearby Goldenville. Vernon was spending a few days at his childhood friend's house.
Edward said:
"Welcome, Vernon. My wife Judy is making a very nice lunch."
"Thank you very much. It will be good to spend a few days away."
Edward said:
"Look, make yourself at home, there's a room already prepared, don't worry. Take a bath, relax, by the way, I know you like to shower with your clothes on, Vernon, so you can shower with your shoes on if you want! Always be yourself!"
"Thank you very much, you know?"
Vernon took a bath, and then took off his clothes, washed them, and hung them on the clothesline. He had lunch and exchanged many ideas about politics, mainly. Judy, his wife, said:
"Those two, when they start talking about politics... they go on until dawn."
Edward and Vernon were still strolling through the streets of Philadelphia, visiting monuments related to the Independence of the United States.
