One night, Josiane and Valdenes had arranged to meet on one of the main streets of Lagoa da Italianinha. Josiane took advantage of her father Moab being in Recife to go talk to her beloved.
But while they were talking, the florist Aline Débora appeared and said:
- Look who I found? The little princess from Maceió wanting to be with my Valdenes.
- What kind of talk is this? - said Valdenes - I'm not dating anyone, for crying out loud.
- Oh, no? Really, but you're going to date me, not her.
Josiane said:
- Show me some respect, okay?
- Geez, you think you're better than me because you're a congressman's daughter? Big deal!
Valdenes said:
- Let's stop this, you two? By the way, Aline, I was just talking to Josiane.- Talking... oh, okay.
Josiane said:
- Valdenes, I'm going now, we'll talk more later.
- Okay.
Josiane left and went to the car, where the driver was waiting for her. Valdenes said:
- Aline Débora, satisfied?
- Well, what do you see in that crazy, depressed, and anxious woman? I don't depend on medication like her, nor do I have mental problems, and if you date me, nobody can stop you.
Valdenes didn't answer and left. Aline Débora said to herself:
- I can still separate those two and be with him...
