Since arriving in Lagoa da Italianinha, Greta, a Swedish woman, has been trying to adapt to the place. Accustomed to living in cold places, even with views of the Northern Lights, she was now residing in the heart of Northeast Brazil.
Her father, Adam, had become a partner in the Maniçoba Shopping Center. Her mother, Dagmar, and her brother, Gustav, had also already adapted to the city. Greta liked Lagoa da Italianinha so much that she decided to copy some of the city's inhabitants, starting to walk barefoot and bathe fully clothed, something unusual even in Northeast Brazil itself.
Greta also began wearing 1960s dresses, becoming a vintage girl, and befriended the eccentric vintage girl, Fabíola. But that's not all. Beautiful, single, and friendly, Greta is beginning to get closer to Esdras, the gardener she helps. Esdras, a widower, takes care of his young daughter, Hadassa, who already has a great affection for Greta. Something suggests a romance is on the horizon.
