Usually, in the late afternoon and early evening, in Lagoa da Italianinha, a gas station makes one of its bathrooms available for homeless people to shower. Some shower inside the bathroom, others outside – obviously, fully clothed.
The homeless woman Juliana and the homeless woman Rita de Cássia, who has the mind of a child, went at that time. Juliana grabbed a bucket of water and soap and said:
- Who goes first?
- Can it be me? Throw water on me!
Juliana threw water on Rita de Cássia. A short time later, it was Rita de Cássia's turn to throw water on Juliana.
Among other homeless people who use the bathroom there are Guilherme, Andreza, Warlla, Priscila, Marly, Gabriella, Hyasmin, the Venezuelan Fabiana, Kell, Fábia, Maria, Claudinha, Uleuda, among others.
Others, like Renata, Gilson, Deza, Esvalda, and Jessica, simply don't use them because they don't like taking a bath.
